POSITION: Hospitality Coordinator
Part Time (10-12 hours per week)

Job Purpose:
The Hospitality Coordinator ensures all SALLT Class participants are welcomed, served, and known during each SALLT class session.
Job Classification:
This is a PT position and non-exempt.
Position Summary:
The Hospitality Coordinator is responsible for planning, preparing, and executing hospitality-related functions for SALLT classes and events. This individual helps create meaningful participant experiences by coordinating meals and refreshments, preparing meeting spaces, and supporting the SALLT team in fostering a culture of excellence, service, and connection.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Hospitality and Event Support
Create a welcoming and engaging environment for all SALLT class participants and guests.
Acquire, transport, set up, and organize hospitality items needed for each class session and event.
Coordinate refreshments, meals, and hospitality details, including dietary restrictions, to enhance the participant experience.
Prepare meeting and dining spaces with seasonal décor, fresh flowers, and/or balloons to create a welcoming atmosphere that encourages connection and meaningful engagement.
Ensure hospitality areas remain organized, clean, and well-stocked throughout events.
Participant Care and Communication
Build positive relationships with participants and help foster a sense of community and belonging.
Respond promptly and professionally to participant needs and questions.
Team and Administrative Support
Support the SALLT team with administrative and hospitality-related projects as assigned.
Assist with special events, graduations, retreats, and other SALLT gatherings.
Complete additional duties and independent projects as needed to support organizational goals.
Working Conditions:
Attend regular staff meetings.
Work both remotely and in-office as needed.
Attend and support SALLT classes, events, and special gatherings.
Some lifting, transporting, and setup of hospitality supplies may be required.
Qualifications:
Required

Demonstrates humility and a servant-leadership mindset.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Able to work independently, manage multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
Flexible, dependable, and willing to adapt to changing needs.
Energized by serving and interacting with people.
Ability to perform physical tasks requiring: lifting and carrying of heavy objects (up to 30 pounds), including cases of water, classroom materials, food supplies, etc..
Preferred
Previous experience in hospitality, event coordination, customer service, ministry, or administrative support.
Experience working with volunteers and diverse groups of people.
Proficiency with basic office and communication tools.
