What is Justice Year?

Justice Year stands as the redemptive impact focus of SALLT working to see the Church of the City aligning with Jesus’ vision for the city in leadership and lifestyle. This is for the city. We believe that Jesus’ vision for OKC is so compelling, beautiful, just, peaceful, and joyful that all citizens of the city will appreciate and celebrate the way the Church of the City champions human flourishing. Justice Year is an annual rhythm that calls our city to See and Respond to a specific issue/redemptive focus that we believe God is working in. SALLT is all about the power of purposeful networks. Justice Year exist to push this network further together so that more peaceful and beautiful endeavors grow and take life in our city. Giving energy, directing focus, and creating space. Convening Leaders from every sector, Connecting people to resources, Creating Metrics to see progress, and Collecting Stories to encourage and sustain further action.
